KRS Error Code
Hi. Thanks in advance..!!
rx7620, HP-UX 11.23
I was trying to apply the patch (DEC 2005).
no error
but in boot time, i face the following error
/sbin/ioinitrc: /sbin/krs_sysinit: ERROR: Unable to retrieve
module information from configuration 'current':
kc_kr_open_node(/kconfig/Modules): KRS error code 2
WARNING: Unable to load modules scheduled to be loaded at boot
time: kc_mod_get failed.
ERROR: Unable to read title of running configuration: KRS error
code 2
WARNING: Unable to read the currently booted kernel configuration
in order to generate an updated system file. The system file may
be out of sync with the booted kernel configuration.
booting is looks like normal.
but I can't see the kernel parameter.(using kctune).
so I reboot using backup kernel (/stand/backup/vmunix).
I'd like to apply a later version of patch(ex. March2006)
How Can I apply the patch??
plz. tell the detailed procedure. thanks

Re: KRS Error Code
Once system boots, do kconfig -v. Does it show kernel configs? You can take backup of latest config. (kconfig -s "new_config_name")
You can apply latest patch.
You can apply latest patch.
