Lan Connectivity
Intermittent problem in lan card due to which clients cannot communicatre to the host.eventhough so many established connection are showing in netstat -an, it is also not pinging after a particular time say 15 min.

Not sure what you exactly mean by this, but try: lanscan command, that should give you for all lan cards the status if it's up (running) or not. Of course you can use lanadmin command as well (to reset for example the card and try again).
If you are talking about clients trying to connect to a certain port, most times this is an application issue, check your application's configuration files.
If you tell a few more details might be easier to help you :-)

I would presume the problem is due to duplicate IP address in your network.
check the nettl.LOG00 by formatting it
netfmt -Nlf /var/adm/nettl.LOG00 > /tmp/nettl.log
look for phrase "trying to be our address" in this /tmp/nettl.log . If you find, this is the evidence of the duplicate IP. then trace the MAC address given there.
