I have to set up a locale as following

.profile:

# Set up language variables
export LANG=en_US.UTF-8
export LC_ALL=en_US.UTF-8

But it gives error , do we have this locale available in hpux . if so from where i can get it and install it

Methinks the lang and locale is actually "en_US.utf8" instead of "en_US.UTF-8". Could you attach the outputs of the locale(1) uname(1) and model(1) cmds on the server.

# locale -a
# uname -a
# model
