laninstall problem
Hallo,
I have a Virtual Machine with 11.23 installed .
I want to do a network recovery from it.
I have my system down.
I go in EFI by "MP" , and then " Load File [EFI Shell [Built-in]]"
My prompt is :
shell
In EFI i launch laninstall but i receive a message:
laninstall not found
where is a laninstall command?
I try to launch :
EFI>dbprofile
but dbprofile not found
where is dbprofile ?

Re: laninstall problem
Got to remember that dbprofile is not available on systems that do not support partitioning.
This command is (unfortunately)
only available in partitionable HP Integrity servers (Integrity Superdomes,
rx8620, etc)
Check these links:
http://docs.hp.com/en/B2355-90970/apbs04.html
http://docs.hp.com/en/5991-1247/ch05s17.html
Why you are using laninstall? Shouldn't you be using lanboot instead...
Try doing:
Shell> dbprofile -dn test
and
Shell> lanboot select
