Hi,
I have a situational patch question that I can't seem to find a answer in the patch white papers.
OS 10.20
This pertains only to a depot. Let's say I get critical PATCH_A. I want to load it in my patch depot. Let's say PATCH_A supersedes PATCH_B which belongs to a patch bundle. When I install PATCH_A into the patch depot, Will PATCH_B automatically be removed from the patch bundle??? Or will the clean up utility do this??
Thanks,
Kirk Reindl

Solution
The cleanup command will do this for you when run with the '-d absolute_path_to_depot' option.
Excerpt from man page on the '-d' option:
When run in this mode, cleanup determines which patches in the
software depot have been superseded by newer patches also
available from the depot. Upon confirmation from the user,
these superseded patches will be removed from the software
depot.

Re: loading critical patch into a depot question
