Lock on the quorum disk cannot be released
We have a HP cluster environment with 2 nodes in it. The log file of the quorum disk says
"Lock on the quorum disk cannot be released".
The time out is "default 2sec". We feel the time out should be increased to some thing like 8 sec. Can any one tell us whether this is possibke. If so how?. Also please confirm are we thinking in the right direction or should try some other alternative.
This is very urgent, so please come back fast.
Thanks in advance

Re: Lock on the quorum disk cannot be released
Hi,
I know we can increase the time out of quorum server but the same parameters does not apply to disk .
BTW
In the ASCII Control file
QS_TIMEOUT_EXTENSION
This is the parameter which is the Time Out
parameter for quorum server.
Please tell us that where exaclty you get the error.you say the log file of the quorum disk says " Lock on the quorum disk cannot be released".
where do you see this.
Regards

Re: Lock on the quorum disk cannot be released
I would suggest you need to supply more information, like what version of HP-UX, what version of Serviceguard, cluster configuration info etc.
