lockdisk question

can I use a ops-aware VG(actived using vgchange -c y -S y vgname) as lockdisk VG ?

Sure - you can use any disk that is shared between nodes.

Well...what exactly is ops-aware vg ? What is it used for ?, is it in an MC/SG pkg now ? As long as this disk can be seen by the other nodes, then it 'should' be okay.

But there is a familiar sound to that ops-aware...I just can't put my finger on it.

you can certainly use this for cluster lock, provided all nodes can see the specific disk
