Log_full.sh

We have omniback 3.50 unix 11.0, informix 7.3. We're trying to use omniback to back the log files and we haven't quite got it working the way we need/want it. Can someone post their log_full.sh file that they're using to back up the log files. The examples in the book aren't helping.

Thanks,

Use the search function on log_full.sh, here's a sample:

Re: Log_full.sh

Hi your welcome to look at ours - its alert 23 you are looking at - we have added some extras in there to stop multiple onbar processes and also allow the ops to change the tapes without having to worryabout mount requests. Any questions let me know. We found that you do need the OB2APPNAME and OB2BARLIST Variables set in the script. Ignore most of the other variables - we have a lot of alerts in here ! (we also renamed the script by the way)
Hats ? We don't need no stinkin' hats !!
