SolutionNow 'resmon' will put logs in /var/opt/resmon. But it can also send an alert that something has triggered a hardware logfile and will point you where to read about it. You will find these in your /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log file. And you will also find in your syslog.log file harware issues report too. 'lbolt' is great example of that.
Hope these help get you started.

Re: Logs Hardware
Don't expect errors in HPVM guests, only on the host.
Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: Logs Hardware
SSH -> service which can be used to connect to unix servers using "Secured connection"
Hardware logs -> can be found by checking the
/var/adm/sysadm/OLDSyslog.log
/var/adm/sysadm/syslog.log
/var/opt/resmon/log/event.log
dmesg
if you need look
(HPVMHOST)) to Virtual partitions (vpar's)
from HPVMHOST
# hpvmconsole -p guestname
Similarly, to collect the guest operation log:
# hpvmconsole -P "$GUEST" -q -c 'rec -view' > $GUEST.applog
