lp options
in SUN SOLARIS there is a lp option (-H) to print the printer requestes according to the value of special handling ( hold, resume, immediate). Is there an equivalent option in HP-UX?

Re: lp options
Using the lp command you could enable or disable a printer from printing (and anything in the queue should be held until re-enabled).
You may be thinking of the np command which has a -p option for high low and defer. The defer command will defer/hold the printing. But this is a command not used by many and you would have to see if you have this on your system. I have Openspool so I use it, unfortunately Openspool is outdated and no longer available. Pity, because it a great tool.
Just a thought,
