LP printing / model problem
Dear reader,
We have a CanonIr3300, some of our people needs to be print in a mail box. With the current model (net_ljx000) is it not possible
i do try with command
lp -d$printer -oprivate0012(must be 2 digits) $file.
Any body with more model experiance, who can help me with this problem
System: Hpux 11.i
The attachment is the model, the model is so big and don't know where 2 start.
/opt/hpnpl/sh ?, or just in /etc/lp/interface/model.orig.
Can somebody with script experience help me with this one ?
Below: the real code if i send this straight to the printer it works: cat file|hpnpf -x ipadres -p port, with the legal options no result

Hello,
I work with addqueue (hpnpl), this is the only way to keep the spooler running while we adding printers.

Re: LP printing / model problem
Well i did fix the problem, for the mail box
Just modify the print model in /etc/lp/interface/model.orig, adjust some settings and code, also create a new option for it.
Only one problem left, if i use the banner option, it will printing the banner but the rest wil be lost, any body experience with it .
