Can you export the lp spooler configuration from a hpux 11.11 pa-risc server and import it into a hpux 11.31 integrity server?

yep

to save
/usr/sam/lbin/lpmgr -S -v -xsavedir=/var/sam/lp

to restore
/usr/sam/lbin/lpmgr -R -v -xsavedir=/var/sam/lp

after the save tar up /var/sam/lp and copy to new server, then execute the restore.

Thanks for your reply. I just wanted to be sure there were no issues going between pa-risc 11.11 and integrity 11.31.

No issues....and you can even install the HP JetDirect (HP11e134.SD) on the Itanium and run it like usual.
It's working fine on my rx7640 running 11.31 IA and 11.23 IA.
