lpsched: Bogus request=

What is my H60 trying to tell me when I try to print to it? I get "lpsched: Bogus request==request ID, Some info: this server just had it's boot disk replaced, I switched this server to another laser printer and got the same message, the printers are all HP Laser 5si's, I cannot telnet to the printer but can telnet to the other printer I put on this server, stop and started lpsched. Does it need a patch? What else can I try?

This sounds like a patch problem

This seemed to work:
1) Remove /var/spool/lp/SCHEDLOCK
2) Remove /var/spool/lp/FIFO
3) empty outputq - # > outputq
4) Remove requests, rm /var/spool/lp/request/*/*
5) stop and start the spooler
