lsof for HP-UX 11 with 64bit kernel

Hi,

Where I can get this software? I search thru the internet and found that there are a lot. I can see some need to be compiled. Why? Is it compulsory? Any recommendation website or attached software?

May I know the steps to install lsof as well?

Hi,

I try to unzip it and get the below error message:

# gunzip lsof_4.73.gz

gunzip: lsof_4.73.gz: not in gzip format

Any ideas?

sorry I have not tried this software but found it when I searched the internet.

try doing this:

# gpg --verify lsof_4.73.sig lsof_4.73.gz

i got this from one of the downloads

we have it installed and attached is the version we use - gunzip should work on this.

fyi, I just download lsof_4.73.gz

The website that u provided required user name and password during ftp the file.

I also cannot save your attached and the error message is "This page is not found".
Can u pls attach once again?

chmod 755 lsof_4.73

fyi, I download this file to my local hard disk first and then ftp to the server. Any wrong for my steps?

This is a binay file so do the following:

ftp
user : anonymous
passwd : your@mail.com

cd dir
bin
get file

My step is ftp from my pc to server. So, I used put command. I already set bin during ftp but still same error.

Any idea?

try to do it directly from the server. I don't know what windows does to the the file (I'm using linux). You could try to extract the file with a windows tool, to see if the file is corrupted before the put to the server.

I would go for the direct connect with ftp.
