I receive the following in syslog and dmesg : -

vmunix: ltpi_icmpv4_parse_msg: failed to pull up inner IP header

any clues as to what this message means.

seems to have something to do with ipsec and encapsulation of packets.

this could be a known issue if there's an OC3.2 (ss7) system involved and if a ping command was issued ... if the above is the case then apply OCSCTP.P1232 OCS patch first and see if things disappear
