LVM migration

Hello all- I have a single volume group created across alternating interfaces as the primary path. I have a logical volume distributed across four luns in a single array group. My problrm is... I have pin data that has not destaged so, I want to move the Physical vol if possible. But since i am in a clustered env.with the vol in active share I cannot use pvmove etc.with my data striped across luns what is the best way to move it so that i can format the bad HDD retrieve my pin data then put my data back on the newly formatted/clean drive ? HPUX 11.0

Got tapes? Seriously, a tape backup (or two), then rebuild.
