lvmconf

Please let me know the importance of the files under the directory /etc/lvmconf/.HISTORY. What will happen if I have remove all the files under the directory.

/etc/lvmconf/.HISTORY Does not contain any lvm or system information. pls check at your end what is there. if u are not sure paste o/p here.

I think some kept backup of lvmconf directory. its up to u if u are thinking to keep these files or keep a backup of these file and remove. but be clear that these files are not in /etc/lvmconf. u need some files in this directory.
