Re: Machine rebooted

have a look at /etc/shutdownlog to see if it was intentionally rebooted, and if the machine went down by itself it must have generated a core file if core dump is enabled and then have HP to analyse the core dump to look for the reason

Re: Machine rebooted

hi
check /etc/shutdown.log

check /var/tombstones/

Check GSP logs (if you have a N class or Lclass or the more advanced)
Press CTRL+B
Login to GSP
TYPE SL (show logs)
type E (for errors)
type N (not to setup filtering)
and please post

Re: Machine rebooted

hi,

STM logs all the errors in a binary format. There is a utility in stm called logtool which is used to convert this into a ascii format. You can use this utility to see the log files. you can invoke stm and then in the menu go to logtool and have to specify the raw file to get the output on the screen.
