Major problem with Keyboard input

Hi all, Im UX user with US-English. But I had to configure a system which the Keyboard and CDE in french. The faced following problems after i made some changes to /etc/rc.config.d/netconf

1)My CDE does not start correctly
it only starts x-windows but no window manager
which means no login prompt.

2)i cant use "-" sign in the Key board eg- ls -l
singn - is getting replaced by " sign.

3)is there any way where i can recreate or put the /etc/rc.config.d/netconf from the screech.

Hi

Do you want to login in GUI mode in your server? or you have HP-UX workstation?

if server doesn't start CDE then chek the followings

/usr/dt/bin/dtconfig -e

Ensure the initdefault level in /etc/inittab is 3

If the system is not currently at runlevel 3, execute

init 3

start CDE

/sbin/init.d/dtlogin.rc start

2> try to change your keyborad

3> you can find a sample file in /usr/newconfig/etc/rc.config.d
