Make recovery error

Never seen this one. Happened after I upgraded the ignite-ux recovery toolset.

Re: Make recovery error

Shalom,

Couple of doc:
http://docs.hp.com/en/5187-0172/5187-0172.pdf

Not exactly sure that the connection is. Ignite seems to be having a problem with a file and giving a misleading error message.

Are there any other versions of Ignite installed?

What is the hardware type?

Is the software installed correctly: swverify \*

Is the LVM and filesystem configuration in /etc/lvmtab and /etc/fstab all mounted and working correctly?

Re: Make recovery error

Strange errors.
Couple of questions here:
What OS version is this ?
PA or Integrity server?
Has it ever worked?
When you installed the software, were there any warnings/errors in the swinstall logs?

This looks as though there is something "missing".

Re: Make recovery error

Quick specs:
rp8420 running 11iv1
I ran swverify and it listed everything as configured, there were some misc errors but they did not appear to be releated to ignite-ux installation.

I also removed and reinstalled the software and have gotten the errors down to:

Re: Make recovery error

Disregard the tape error, that was me not being fast enough to get it in before it asked.

Re: Make recovery error

Ok, list expanders was a bad exclude reference option. tape recovery seems to be working fine now. Possibly a bad install the first time around. Thanks for the help!
