make_recovery problem
I have the next error when executing make_recovery - Av with tape drive HP dds-3 C5708A
make_recovery(472): /usr/bin/dd failed,res=512,errno=0

Hi,
This seems like its going to be one of three things:
1. Bad tape - try some other media.
2. Bad tape drive - see if you can attach a different device and re-run the make_recovery.
or
3. You're missing some SCSI patches.

This error is mainly due to the media error or drive error. Pls chek both of them.

Hi,
Try to rewind the tape and to clean up the tape drive.
One of these things can help.
Also it's good idea to replace the tape.
