Re: Make_tape_recovery problem

Hi Richard,

Sounds like you have an Ignite problem.
Verify that it installed properly & that you have the proper version for the proper OS.
Are you running 11.0 or 11.11?
Does that file exist?
IS it 444 bin:bin?

Re: Make_tape_recovery problem

I would download, or redownload, Ignite/UX from:
http://software.hp.com/products/IUX/download.html

I would then swremove the version of Ignite you currently have installed and then (re)swinstall the version you just downloaded.

It sounds like Ignite did not get installed completely the first time.

Re: Make_tape_recovery problem

OK - verify that it is indeed installed..

swlist | grep -i ignite

Then the installed state...

swlist -l fileset -a state Ignite-UX-11-00

If anything is NOT listed configured then either attempt swconfig on the product or reinstall forcing the overwrite options.

Re: Make_tape_recovery problem

You could try renaming the file as in this thread:

http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=293486

but I think your best bet is to (re)download the latest version as in this thread:
