Making HP-UX bootable CD
Hi Guys,
I would like to know how to make bootable HP-UX CD-Rom to automate remote upgrades from scratch of a wide number of Workstations.
Has anyone tried some like this?
Any clue would be appreciated,
Thierry

Re: Making HP-UX bootable CD
It is pretty straightforward imho...
Make an ignite image to a file then cp it to a windows machine... unless you have CD burner-capable UNIX workstation or Linux Distro box with a burner.

Re: Making HP-UX bootable CD
oops!! You said bootable...
I guess you are wanting to use a system you have setup with all patches and products loaded?
Seems to me you can make an Ignite Install Server... and push out a Golden Image you made...
I still like Ignite make_net_recovery... if they are reachable over the network...
