Hello
can I masquarade only the user:
root@domain.com to
hello@xyz.domain.com
But attention: no other users should be
masquarade

You may want to look at using the user.db instead...see attached file.

you could alias the user.
root@domain.com: hello@xyz.domain.com
The the file /etc/mail/aliases
Then all inbound mail would get forwarded to
the second address.
The same thing could be achived by two entries in the /etc/mail/virtusertable and /etc/mail/genericstable files
You would need to compile your sendmail macros into sendmail.cf and put that into production.
This script does that with standard anti-spam options.
