Max Restart Question.
Team:
We have two packages on our SG single node cluster. On one package i have set the restart_num parameter (for the package restart before giving up) to be 5. Our SERVICE_RESTART parameter in our control script is set to 2. Now, my question would be if i halt the package will it set the counter to 0. I know that when i halt the cluster both the counters(restart_num and SERVICE_RESTART) are set 0. I would like to know if i do cmhaltpkg and then cmrunpkg then will the counter be reset at all.
Please clarify.
Thanks
Brian.

Re: Max Restart Question.
Hi:
I would like to clarify that we have just one package in the cluster. I was trying to say that we were monitoring 3 processes in that package. Hope this clarifies.
Thanks
Brian.

Re: Max Restart Question.
well a manual halt and restart of the package will cause the SERVICE_Restart counter to be reset to 0, as far as I can rmemebr.
The other parameter does not seem to be familiar to me.
Where in what file does this sit?
