Medium header verification failed error

hello all..

a very good morning..

i am taking daily backyup of one server on Data protector..

the server model & OS is :

HP-UX B.11.11 U 9000/800

the error i am getting in the DP is as :


Medium header verification failed on drive devNHSAS01_DRV1.
All objects on this medium will be marked as failed.

Hi,

Can you check event logs from /var/opt/resmon/log/event.log.

Can you check with swapping tape/drive.
I suspect problem in medium(tape).

well, earlier the tape was seen as poor thats why i changed the tape and added a new one. then also i got this error..

have you checked eventlogs...
why can't we try with other tape drive.
drive may also bad.
