memlogd not starting....

HI ,

I have an HP UX os with 11.23 on an itanium based server where memlogd daemon not starting... I tried it by cstm by listing the daemons but none got listed. Can any one help me on this with the steps required.

SKR is right. just go through the thread.

Stop STM...
/sbin/init.d/diagnostic stop
Remove the memlog file...
RM /var/stm/logs/os/memlog
Restart STM
/sbin/init.d/diagnostic start
will hopefully work for u.
