Re: Memory usage
You've reached the MPE side of the ITRC and you need to re-post to then HP-UX System administration group. However, I do believe that the command
'top' will give you rudimentary
memory utilization statistics.
There are also third party tools that you can use, like SOS/9000 from Lund Performance Solutions. They can be reached at www.lund.com

Re: Memory usage
look at your syslog.log for out of memory errors, file core to see if memory failures etc..
Later,

Re: Memory usage
If you have purchased the HP glance software, you can run "/opt/perf/bin/glance -m" at a command prompt to check the memory utilization.

Re: Memory usage
There is a simple C program which can be run to get the o/p like this
Memory Stat total used avail %used
physical 32764.0 8058.4 24705.6 25%
active virtual 531.3 128.9 402.4 24%
active real 597.0 136.0 461.0 23%
memory swap 26522.5 3738.2 22784.3 14%
device swap 2378.0 2365.5 12.5 99%
I ahve attached the script , you can jsut compile it and run it any time you want to monitor.
