Migration Tool

Hi,

I have a requirement to migrate everything from 9000/800/L2000-44/HP-UX 11.00/Databases/Applications to another physical server "say, same model but another site".

Is there any tool available for HPUX 11.00 or 11.11 which can assist with this requirement? I can upgrade HP-UX 11.00 to HP-UX 11.11 if necessary.

Best idea:
1) Build new box HP-UX 11.11 install all applications then migrate data and needed configurations.

Fast idea:
2) Ignite make_tape_recovery backup while all services such as databases are down. Restore to second server.

Thanks Steven. I want the databases and the applications to be intact. How do we ensure that?

In Wintel World there are some tools available which can assist with P2P, P2V, V2P, etc.. migration. Here OS, Databases, Applications are all migrated together. Is there any such tool available to perform Server migration for HP-UX environmnet?
