MIRROR'ed boot disk - /stand/vmunix: cannot open, or not executable
Boot
: disk(0/0/2/1.15.0.0.0.0.0;0)/stand/vmunix
disk(0/0/2/1.15.0.0.0.0.0;0)/stand/vmunix: cannot open, or not executable
Was thinking of removing the MIRROR to this disk, and rebuilding the mirror.. thinking something might have gone wrong. Using a system rp2470 with 144G (2) internal disks.
I don't think these large disks are a problem with mirror/ux.
any suggestions appreciated.

Re: MIRROR'ed boot disk - /stand/vmunix: cannot open, or not executable
You prabablky missed out a step or two while building up the mirror. Maybe revisiting the steps you performed while preparing the mirror may help you identify the problem.
Rebuilding the mirror is always a choice, but it is a good idea to atleast find out what went wrong in the 1st place.
Hope this helps.

Re: MIRROR'ed boot disk - /stand/vmunix: cannot open, or not executable
here's a snippet and I realize the error now that it must be the first MIRROR LVOL, right?
lvextend -m 1 /dev/vg00/lvol1 /dev/dsk/c3t15d0
lvlnboot: Boot volume should be the first logical volume on the physical volume
The newly allocated mirrors are now being synchronized. This operation will
take some time. Please wait ....

I'm doing an LVREDUCE -m 0 on all the mirror'ed logical volumes. will get back to you on this status.
