Mirroring Help

Dear Gurus,

I have a 2 36GB in my HP IA64 server. Recently, I got a problem of accidentally moving some files in the root directory (/etc,/dev.... I cannot do anything but to re-store it from make_tape_recovery tape i had. I somehow re-stored it but some files are lost (some apps) but my problem now, is that before the 2 36GB are mirrored. but somehow when i see my hp-ux boot, the led's in the 2nd hard disk are not anymore blinking. I assume that the mirror was also lost also. I would like to ask for the procedure in mirroring the disk..
Many thanks!

Re: Mirroring Help

It depends on whether you are using LVM or VxVM for your volume manager. The procedures differ.

LVM - HP-UX 11.22:
TKB document ID: KBRC00011156
http://www2.itrc.hp.com/service/cki/docDisplay.do?docLocale=en_US&docId=200000074434290

LVM - HP-UX 11.23:
TKB document ID: KBRC00014526
http://www2.itrc.hp.com/service/cki/docDisplay.do?docLocale=en_US&docId=200000078087867

VxVM rootdb on Itanium:
TKB document ID: IA64KBRC00012173
http://www2.itrc.hp.com/service/cki/docDisplay.do?docLocale=en_US&docId=200000072656088
