IMHO, it is just a config file, so the version shouldn't matter

It is a MPi/eX application related file. We do not have this so can not find it in my systems.

HPUx Version -

Just give "uname -a" command and you should see the output like this .

HP-UX abc101 B.11.11 U 9000/800 174484685 unlimited-user license

B.11.11 referes to you OS version.
