Missing library

Hi,

i try to run fluent 3d on a N Class Server. But i get the error message:

/usr/lib/dld.sl: Can't find path for shared library: libXwindow.2
/usr/lib/dld.sl: No such file or directory

I found that this library belongs to "GraphicsCommon.STAR-SHLIBS", but i can't find it on any Software CD for HP-UX 11.00, only for 11.11, but i have HP-UX 11.00 running.

Can someone tell me, where i can find this software package?

You need to load this patch..

Patch Name: PHSS_25279
Patch Description: s700_800 11.X PEX 5.1/Starbase/Hardcopy Run (PA2.0 only)

It looks like the library you need is in it (GraphicsCommon.STAR-SHLIBS).
Check HP patch depot if it's already superseeded by other patch, if not just load this patch (reboot not required).

i already had this patch (from latest quality pack) but it would not install, if the appropriate software (B6268AA as i know now) is not installed.

Hi,

i got the same problem. The "Graphics and Technical Computing Software" was not preinstalled by HP. Normally you do not need it for a server, but if you want to use the machine as "number cruncher" some application maybe wants to open some graphics and need this libs.
