Dear Expert,
I have a assisting MCSG run in OV MDHA. I need to modify some file in the package .conf file. After I modify, I have to recheck & reapply the package .conf file.
Is there any problem I will have....and will it effect other package file ? Can it be done without stopping the MCSG ?
Thanks,

Solution
If you want to modify and re-apply a package congfiguration file you can do this online (i.e. with the cluster and all the other packages keeping on running). However, depending on the change you are going to make, you might need to halt the package you want to change. For a detailed list of actions that require a package to be halted before you can apply a new configuration for it, refer to the manual "Managing MC/ServiceGuard", Dec 2000, p.223-225 at
