i got a little Problem atm,
we have a server that is quite low on disk space now we want to mount a windows networkshare on the server.
Are there any good tutorials for this or a short howto?

SolutionYou can use CIFS client which can be downloaded for free from http://software.hp.com
The full documentation is available from http://docs.hp.com
I'd consider carefully which filesystems you are going to replace using Windows shared drives - it'd be fine for data, but I wouldn't like to use it for system files.

Darren.

Re: Mounting Windows Netzwork Share
Otherwise, if you just wish to transfer files then ftp is a possibility.
Perhaps you could try explaining your question again in case I've misunderstood it ;)
regards,
Darren.

Re: Mounting Windows Netzwork Share
If low in disk space means and if you want to use a local filesystem on a remote physical device, then CIFS is the best one to go.
But if you only transferring some files then ftp is the best option.

Re: Mounting Windows Netzwork Share
yeh its that way we want to mount a windows device. I´ll try that CIF thingy after we updated our 10.2 to the current 11.x Version :) now its a good reason for that.
