Mike,

Try "lpalt (id) -d(newdest)"

Re: Move Print Request in Queue

The lpmove command can do it also.

Note that the lpsched must be shutdown for this to work. If you have a lot of jobs to move, write a for loop shell script that will do the moves.

Re: Move Print Request in Queue

Hi,

The requests for one printer can be moved to other printer via lpmove command also. In this case your faulty printer should be disabled & scheduler should be shut.

#disable prnflt
#lpshut
#lpmove prnflt prngood
#lpsched

( Where prnflt & prngood is the name of your Faulty & Good Printers respectively)

Your good printer should start printing if it is enabled.
Impossible itself mentions "I m possible"
