MSTM error
/usr/lib/dld.sl: Can't find path for shared library: libtt.3
/usr/lib/dld.sl: No such file or directory
/usr/sbin/mstm[24]: 6327 Abort(coredump)
I installed from 12/2001 Support Plus CD.
I tried setting the SHLIB_PATH variable to where libtt.3 is located -same error.
Thanks

Re: MSTM error
1. Access the following web site:
http://www.software.hp.com
2. Select the Network & System Administration link.
Select the Support Tools for the HP 9000 link (Not the Support
Plus link).
Note: The software is listed alphabetically. You can
download the software free of charge, however,
you must register before downloading the software.
4. Select the TryNow link to complete the registration
process.
Note: Be sure to select the correct platform
(either workstation or server) and the correct
Operating System release. The download is about 25 MB.
5. Complete the download process.

Re: MSTM error
Download and install the latest version of STM from this link,
https://software.hp.com/cgi-bin/swdepot_parser.cgi/cgi/try.pl?productNumber=B6191AAE&date=
Cut and paste the above link in your browser.
Hope this helps.

Re: MSTM error
From the TKB # DIAG374AC108:
Why does STM core dump on start-up?
STM requires that the Motif and X Windows libraries be present on the system. If they are not, error messages similar to the following are displayed:
/usr/lib/dld.sl: Can't find path for shared library: libXm.4
/usr/lib/dld.sl: No such file or directory
/usr/sbin/mstm[24]: 15845 Abort(coredump)
If you see a message like this (the particular version of the library, which is ".4" in this case, may vary), load the Motif libraries from the HP-UX OS media.
HTH,
Shiju

Re: MSTM error
Another thing to remember before installation is to stop diagnostics and predictive.
Remove any old version and do a fresh install.

Re: MSTM error
You can solve it reinstalling the missing fileset.
