Dear all,
I have D390 box,which has dual processor,
During booting it shows only one
processor as active,But after booting
in sam it show both active.
Any problem? Why?

SolutionAt initial boot only 1 CPU is active as this is the one the server boots up on (CPU0). Once the HP-UX kernel is loaded it can utilise any extra processors. So, no, you dont have a problem.
Im from Palmerston North, New Zealand, but somehow ended up in London...

As Stefan says, that's quite normal. During bootup, you should actually see :-
processor 0 Active configured
processor 1 Inactive configured
Only start to worry, should one of them not say configured. It would then indicate that the h/w selftests have failed and it's deactivated a processor. Or of course, it could mean you went it and deconfigured one of them.
