multi-threaded java application on HP-UX 11iv1 with multiple CPUs

Hi all,

I'm running multi-threaded java applications on RP4440 server with up to 8 processors.
I'm wondering if the standard (pthread?) model used in HP-UX 1.4.2 JRE may spread execution of threads created by a single JVM process over more than one processor at any moment of time.

I've been seeking documentation, but didn't find the answer.

See it for yourself. If you have such application, start it. open glance, select java process and select open threads.
Hope it gives you required information.
