MX
Hi, I have a HPUX 10.20 and I plan to use it for mail server. So, what is the best solution to do this? I want to say, what MTA (sendmail, postfix, etc) should I install?
Thanks...
Leandro.

Re: MX
It depends on what you want and how the mail server is going to be configured.
If it's behind a firewall for internal mail only, then the answer will be different if it's not.
I personally prefer sendmail, but that's only because I've been using it for about 10 years and am familiar with it.
Other people prefer other mailers for different reasons, I believe that qmail (correct me if I'm wrong someone) has extra and easy security options that are more complex under sendmail.
you may like to try:

This has a list of a lot of popular software that's been ported to HPUX.

Re: MX
Personally I would go for PostFix or Exim ... PostFix has some very good security features, and the ability to easily plugin other modules. I installed PostFix at a ISP in the UK and hooked in a OpenSource AntiVirus solution called AMAVISD.
