NAE software

Hi,

Long time ago, somebody was installed a software called NAE (is used for files interchange) in my HP-UX box and now we've problems with this, I don't have documentation, I try to search in google, but don't find nothing.

Please, somebody know this software and can help me.

Thanks and sorry for my english.

Re: NAE software

Xavi,
in order to find out more about the software:
1. Please run a swlist or use SAM to get additional install details
2. How do you use the software and do you have a copy of some of the commands used?

Re: NAE software

It is doubtful that the NAE software was packaged for use with swinstall. Where is the software installed? /usr/local, /usr/contrib? Are there man pages for the package? In the installation directory, are there doc or README files? What are the names of the NAE commands? Do you know what NAE stands for? Is there a startup script for it in /sbin/init.d or in the /sbin symlink directories for each run level?

Re: NAE software

Hi Xavi,

Would you be referring to Network Attached Encryption?
Then check out Ingrian Networks for their NAE products:
