Netscape CDE integration
I was trying to integrate Netscape with CDE. One of the machines I'm in charge of at work has the CDE integration files on it for Communicator 4.5. The Netscape 4.72 that I downloaded from HP seems to be missing them. So, I just copied the files over from the machine at work and put them on my workstation. Then I ran dtappintegrate and then "reload applications". Click Navigator, nothing happens. Then I realized the path was different than on the machine at work (/opt/netscape versus /opt/ns-communicator). So I went into /opt/netscape/dt/.../Communicator.dt and edited the path and reran dtappintegrate and "reload applications". Still nothing. I don't get any errors so I'm not really sure where to start to figure out what's wrong. HP-UX version is 11.0 ACE 11/99.

Re: Netscape CDE integration
Chris, I've never used the 'dtappintegrate' tool before, but here is how I integrate any app into my CDE.
1. Open the Application Manager
2. Open Desktop_Apps
3. Open Create Action
4. In the 'Action Name' field, enter in the name of your application
5. In the next field, enter the full path to your application's executable
6. Then, save the action, by using the 'File' menu at the top and selecting 'Save'
7. A file has now been placed in your home directory (the user currently logged in to CDE). Using the CDE 'File Manager' find this new file.
8. Now drag/drop this file into an availiable Front Panel "Install Icon".
9. Try it!
Good Luck!
