Network Card compatibility
Hi Gurus,
I have server rp8420 running hpux 11.11. i need to upgrade one lan card from 1Gig to 10Gig. I come to know that the below 10Gig lan card supports this model with 11.11 OS.
AB287A PCI-X 133 MHz 10GbE SR fiber (PA-RISC)
1) Please tell, will it support rp8420.
2) if yes, does this lan card support RJ45 connector, because i think existing lancard would be having RJ45 connection only.
Thanks

Re: Network Card compatibility
According to this document -- http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c02066997/c02066997.pdf -- the AB287A is supported on the rp8420.
The AB287A requires a fiber connection NOT an RJ45. I could not find any 10Gb cards in that document that have an RJ45 interface AND that are supported on the rp8420.
