network printer problem

I am trying to add my win98 machine to my winxp network printer. I can't install the printer drivers, however, as it is an hp 2210, and the older machine says not enough ram and no usb. Is there a way to just copy the necessary drivers, or do I have to send everything to the xp drive, and then print from that? Thanks!
