I have a problem with a HPUX running 11.0 and jetadmin. I setup a network printer that is going through a LINKSYS Print Server (EFSP42). At first no print jobs went through but I found that I had to specify the port for 4010 in the /var/spool/lp/interface/ file. Now it prints, but the print queue is building up and not moving the completed jobs out. Once I cancel the first job the next job will print. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Solution
I had this same problem and this process seemed to work for me:
Add the new printer in jetadmin.
When you have given the printer the proper name (option 1) go to option 6 (additional printer configuration) and then to option #1 on the next menu. Here you want to change the model script to net_genericpcl3printer. Once that is done save your work. Next you will want to add the 4010 port to the /etc/lp/interface/printer_name file, search for xPORT and put in "-p 4010". Save your work and give it a try. You should see your jobs process by checking the /var/adm/lp/log. Your jobs should now process through, confirm by checking the print queue.
Call the customer to confirm from that end.
