New Server

Hello,

Customer has build a B.11.11 server name "A" with some applications etc. Now we need to build the new server "B" with same configuration etc.

Please let me know what all files need to be consider from Server A to make changes in Server B.

Best idea would be to backup A using ignite, restore to B and adjust hostname, IP , ...

Hi ,

What applications are you using ?
some Applications are having licences.ie ip based, hostname based.so you need to show what type of appln are running in your system.

As Torsten said, The best way is to create a ignite tape of server A and ignite server B. you will then need to change to hostname and some network configuration and maybe a couple of other things. But ignite is the way to go.
