Re: NFS issue
In your follow up you mis-spell defaults
If that is a cute and paste from /etc/fstab it is the source of your problem.

Re: NFS issue
What is the actual error message? Please cut/paste the real message and what command you use to get it. Does it happen at filesystem mount time or when you try to actually access something on the filesystem? Is the client and server 11i v3 or only the client? If both systems are not running 11i v3 then what OS is the other system running?

Re: NFS issue
Both the system nfs server and client is on 11.31 and the exact error message is unreadable when I do ls on local mount point on nfs client system.
Other then that there is no error message.
Thanks

Re: NFS issue
Again what to you mean "unreadable"? Just cut and paste what you see.
I've seen multiple "NFS server not responding" interspersed.

Re: NFS issue
You are saying that the message you are getting is: unreadable
When you said "unreadable message", it means you don't understand or can't read it.
But if you quoted the command and message, it obvious it means that the directory is unreadable.
