I think NFS version 3 supports large files - NFS version 3 comes with 11.0 and above.
Learn What to do ,How to do and more importantly When to do ?

Hi

NFS version 3 supports largefiles.
You need to ensure you create/modify the fileystem to allow largefiles.
If you modify the fileyststem to allow largefile support, then you will need to re-export it.
