Hi All,

How do i add ro and rw , settings for same filesystem e.g. we want /tmp to be exported to "abc" host as rw and "xyz" host as ro.
How do i achieve it?.

Hi

Edit /etc/exports as follows:
/tmp -rw=abc

Then exportfs -av

This should ensure that abc has read-write and all other systems have read-only.
See man exportfs.

You can do a
#exportfs -i -o rw=abc /tmp

To make changes permanent make entries in /etc/exports file

/tmp -o rw=abc

then do a
/sbin/init.d/nfs.server start

Make sure that /etc/rc.config.d/nfsconf has

NFS_SERVER set to 1.
