I wonder if anyone has come across any tools that's equivalent to HP-UX's nickel, executable globally across variuos UNIX platform. I need to tools to gather and consolidate system info for all my unix servers. thank you.

I think the most complete tool is cfg2html.
You can obtain all the information in a more nice way.
I send you the file in zip format. The installation doesn't reboot
